This is a nice, furniture grade birch plywood cabinet. The cabinet comes prewired with push on connectors for the speaker. I installed a Celestiion Creamback, with the supplied screws, using the four predrilled holes. Total cost was about 60% of a name-brand cabinet that would not have been any better.

Only negative, and it's not really a negative, is that the rear plug is labeled "60W RMS 16ohms", but of course, you can install a speaker with any power rating and impedance that fits."

"Wanted a birch cab for a greenback. This is fantastic, feels made robustly. Tolex is Nice, as well as the Grill Cloth. If I had the cash I'd go ahead and pickup the 4x12 for my plexi clone. I was considering buying this or the orange ppc112, and I'm glad I made the call for this one. I've had orange cabs in the past, but honestly this looks made just as good (if not better in some ways.) The option for open back or closed back when purchasing is nice as well on the smaller cabs."

"Cabinet arrived packed like NASA would have done it. Very professional job. Birch plywood on all sides. All heavy duty metal hardware. Tolex looks pretty tough. The orange is a lighter color but looks good with the wheat colored grill. Loaded it with two Celestion greenbacks for a Marshall head. Holes lined up perfectly, and they gave me an extra screw and washer. The jack on the back is really awesome... allows you to choose 4, 8, or 16 ohms. Sounds amazing. Extremely happy with this cab."
